Background:
The Rose District Mill and Overlay project is a 2008 Streets GO Bond project. The work includes street repair along Commercial and Dallas Streets from Ash Avenue to First Street, and El Paso and Fort Worth Streets from Main Street to First Street. The project will consist of street maintenance for asphalt, Portland Cement and combined streets in Downtown Broken Arrow, to include patching, milling, and asphalt overlay. The contractor will be required to work around previously scheduled Rose District events such as Chalk It Up; Wine, Eats, and Easels; Farmers Market, Night Out Against Crime, and Ice Rink at the Pavilion.

The project was advertised for bids on August 1 and 8, 2017. Bids were opened on August 22, 2017. Six (6) bids were received. The low bidder was Ellsworth Construction, LLC, with a bid of $248,055.80. The engineer's estimate was $275,220.50. The certified bid tabulation is attached. Staff recommends award of the Base Bid for Rose District Mill and Overlay to Ellsworth Construction, LLC in the amount of $248,055.80.

Funds for the work are available in the 2008 Streets GO Bond.
