Background:
The new Police Down Range Building design is a 2014 Public Safety General Obligation (GO) Bond and Sales Tax Capital Improvements project. The architectural design will be a 3,015 square foot, 45ft x 67ft x 12ft, metal building system on an engineered foundation. This facility will be comprised of a Meeting Room, Restrooms, Storage and Large Demonstration Area. The building will be located behind the Broken Arrow Police and Fire Training Facility Administration and Training Center buildings, close to the Fire/Police Storage building near the Firing Range. The building will be designed by Sparks Reed Architecture & Interiors. A fee of $37,700.00 was negotiated for the building design. Staff recommends that the City Council approve the attached agreement with Sparks Reed Architecture & Interiors for design of new Police Down Range Building.

Funding for the design will be from the Sales Tax Capital Improvements Fund.

Cost: $37,700.00
