Title:

title

Consideration, discussion, and possible action to recommend to City Council to expend funds to mitigate erosion and repair the north side of the Preserve Park Detention Pond (Case No. 24-008)

End

Background:

The proposed project is in northeast Broken Arrow just west of 37th St. The project will be to install an interceptor ditch, inlets, storm sewer pipes, repair the shore, and repair the asphalt path and other mitigation efforts at the Preserve Park Detention Pond.

Staff investigated the site and found that the north path is eroding and damaging the sidewalk. Staff also found that a berm that held back water from a wetland had been cut and the water flowed from the wetland also caused erosion issues.

Staff has designed plans for the mitigation and repair of these concerns.

The estimated construction cost to repair and mitigate is approximately $325,000.00 in 2024 Dollars.

This area flows to Adams Creek.
