Background:
Planning Commission members are appointed to serve three-year terms. Mr. Townsend was originally appointed by City Council on May 1, 2021. His current three-year term is set to expire on May 5, 2024. Jonathan Townsend has been recommended to continue serving on the Planning Commission by Councilor Parks. Mr. Townsend has expressed his willingness to serve a three-year term to expire May 5, 2027.
