Background:
The establishment of an innovation district in South Broken Arrow holds the potential to catalyze economic growth, create jobs, attract investment, improve quality of life, and position the city as a hub for innovation and advanced manufacturing in the region.
Branding plays a crucial role in the success of marketing the innovation district. To drive success in the establishment of an innovation district, the Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with their Innovation District Committee and various community leaders began a process to create and determine branding for the innovation district.
Jennifer Conway, President and CEO of the Economic Development Corporation, will present the selections stakeholders have chosen for Authority consideration. In order to establish identity, attract talent, build community, and facilitate marketing efforts to drive economic development, Staff and the EDC would like guidance and selection from the Authority on a name and logo for the innovation district.
