Background:
This item comes before the Council to advise of upcoming out-of-state travel by City Council members for April 2024:
On April 20-27, 2024, Mayor Debra Wimpee, will travel to Switzerland. The Mayor has been invited to attend the 2024 Delegation of U.S. Women Mayors to Switzerland. This weeklong trip provides the opportunity for a select group of city-level leaders from the United States to experience how local governance is organized in Switzerland and engage with Swiss counterparts on shared topics of interest. Majority of the cost of this trip will be covered by the Swiss Visitor Agency.
Cost: $1,000 (approximate)
