Approval of and authorization to declare certain City owned vehicles and equipment as surplus and authorize the sale of those items at an online public auction

Background:
The equipment on the attached lists have outlived it usefulness to the City , either through age, use or obsolescence. An on-line auction with Purple Wave wll be held following Council approval to dispose of the surplus items. It is anticipated that the auction will be held in May 2024. Purple Wave will be responsible for all advertising and will take pictures of the items to post on the their auction site.There is no cost to the City for this service. Should the items not sell during the online auction staff is requesting that we can dispose of the items properly.
State Statue allows for online auction and we have been very successful going this route.
