Presentation of update on city employee participation in 2024 Leadership Broken Arrow program

Background:
Leadership Broken Arrow is a 10-month-long leadership development program of the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce. Participants gain knowledge to grow their individual leadership skills while also learning about Broken Arrow to help influence the city’s future through community involvement. Each year, the City of Broken Arrow enrolls five to six employees to participate in the program that includes approximately 40 individuals from private businesses and public organizations around Broken Arrow.
Beginning in August, LBA meets once a month at a different location in BA. Each monthly session includes participants learning valuable leadership skills and insight from industry experts while also providing a unique perspective into the people and places that make Broken Arrow an amazing and growing city.
Leadership Broken Arrow is one example of the City’s commitment to developing leaders in the organization to help enhance and guide the public services it provides to the community.
