Background:
We currently have an Inter-Local agreement with Wagoner County as it relates to the shared responsibilities, ownership, maintenance, construction and financial obligation of public rights-of-way. However, there is no current agreement that allows the officers working for the City of Broken Arrow to take enforcement action on the stated roadways. This agreement will allow officers working for the City of Broken Arrow to take enforcement action on the roadways that will be affected by the proposed amphitheater to be built in that geographical area. During construction, and once completed, the City of Broken Arrow will have a vested interest in the enforcement of traffic violations and safety of the motoring public in the listed areas.
