Notification of appointees for the re-engaged New Orleans Square Advisory Committee

Background:
The re-engagement of this committee was approved by Council at the 02-06-24 City Council Meeting, the purpose of this committee is to provide input and assist with discussions on options to address New Orleans Square Overlay District. The following members will work with staff to determine recommendations for presentation and consideration to the governing body:
Committee members will review the Overlay District and determine if the elimination or modifications to the Overlay are needed to better serve this area and promote quality new construction projects within the district.
The following members will work with staff to determine recommendations for consideration by the governing body:
Joe Tortorici - Appointed by Mayor Wimpee
John Dobberstein - Appointed by Vice Mayor Gillespie
Mindy Payne - Appointed by Councilor Ford
Scott Moore - Appointed by Councilor Green
Danny Miller - Appointed by Councilor Parks
Ben Buie - Appointed by City Manager Michael Spurgeon
Chase Elkins (Rosalyn Von-Jackson, alternate) - Appointed by City Manager Michael Spurgeon
TBD - Youth City Council Member
These members will serve with Vice Mayor Christi Gillespie, Councilor Justin Green and Planning Commissioner Jonathan Townsend, on the re-engaged New Orleans Square Advisory Committee.
