Approval of and authorization to execute Amendment Number 1 to Professional Consulting Agreement with RJN Group, Inc. for Haikey Creek Interceptor Phase 1 Services (Project No. HC21010)

Background:
This project, which began in 2016, consisted of design for 4,570 linear feet of 48-inch slip- or swage-lining of an existing 54-inch diameter, concrete sewer interceptor, manhole rehabilitation of 10 manholes, and coordination of CCTV and heavy cleaning to remove solids prior to construction. Easement/ownership research and preparation of easement documents was also included. The construction money for this project became available in FY2022.
The project was bid in May of 2022 and bids came in significantly higher than expected. This amendment is for RJN Group, Inc. to revise the plans/quantities to reduce construction costs and ensure more competitive bids are received.
The amendment was negotiated with RJN Group, Inc. for a Not to Exceed amount of $5,000.00.
Cost: $5,000.00
