Approval of and authorization to execute an Agreement for the Provision of Services between the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority and Waste Management of Oklahoma for disposal of municipal waste

Background:
The attached agreement for the provision of services between the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA) and Waste Management of Oklahoma (WM) is for a month-to-month agreement. This agreement would begin July 1, 2022, and end on September 30, 2023, or as soon as a new long-term agreement is reached.
Agreements for waste disposal sites will be finalized with a long-term agreement once those rates have been negotiated. Upon settling on a long-term rate another agreement will be brought before the authority.
Cost: $27.57 per ton for solid waste
$31.35 per ton for Wastewater treatment Sludge
