Background:

Family Aquatic Center is located at 1400 South Main Street. This new shade structure will replace the three large umbrella style shades by a larger 35’ x 70’ shade structure that will offer more shade coverage and an updated look to the facility.

BuyBoard is a procurement source for government agencies, a subdivision of lead agency of which is the State of Oklahoma. All vendors contracted with BuyBoard are those offering the best prices to governmental entities and who meet the criteria required of competitive bidding. For Parks and Recreation Equipment and Field Lighting Products, BuyBoard awarded a specific contract (#592-19) to Shade Structures, Inc., whom the City has worked with in the past for numerous shades structures for the parks.

The scope of this project is to install a 35’ x 70’ Shade structure at Family Aquatics Center. Funding of $60,390.65 has been budgeted in the Parks and Recreation Capital Improvement Fund 332.
