Approval of and authorization to execute a Pest Control Service Agreement (fourth renewal, year four) with Allstate Termite and Pest Solutions for monthly pest control at all City facilities

Background:
For many years, the City has utilized pest control services to maintain a pest free environment at City facilities for workers and citizens alike. The Purchasing Division has identified and recommended this type of service to be bid and secured under an annual contract.
In June of 2019, Request for Proposals (RFP) for pest control services were advertised and sent to 13 vendors, eight vendors replied. The City’s RFP calls for monthly service at 27 city facilities. The lowest bid proposal was awarded to Allstate Termite & Pest Solutions.
The bid provided for an annual contract with up to four optional renewal periods. No cost increase is requested and service provided under the current contract has been good, staff recommends renewing the contract for the fourth year. (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023)
Funds for this service are budgeted by each Department.
Cost: $8,880 annually. ($740.00 / month. Pricing will adjust with the addition or removal of facilities.)
