Approval of and authorization to execute an engagement letter with Arledge & Associates, PC for fiscal year ending June 2022

Background:
In April of 2019 the City solicited bids for auditing services. Arledge & Associates was awarded the contract in June 2019 based on price, experience and the history with the City. The attached contract is for year four for the firm to audit the City’s financial statements for fiscal year ending June 2022. The objective of the audit is an expression of opinion as to whether the City’s financial statements are fairly presented, in all material respects, in conformity with U.S generally accepted accounting principles and to report on the fairness of the supplementary information. The objective also includes reporting on Internal Controls over financial reporting and compliance with the laws and regulations in accordance with Government Auditing Standards and Federal Statutes for federal awards.
Cost: $ 66,500
Funding Source: Budgeted in General Government Departments in General Fund and Broken Arrow Municipal Authority
