Background:
The 37th Street Sidewalk Improvements from Albany Street to Omaha Street project was requested to provide walkability and connectivity along both the 37th Street and Albany Street corridors. With this in mind, Engineering & Construction Department staff selected the A/E firm Native Strategies, PLLC, a qualified design firm, to negotiate a design agreement.
The agreement staff negotiated with Native Strategies, PLCC for this project includes the addition of approximately 5,200 linear feet of 5’ wide sidewalk to the east side of 37th Street from Albany Street to Omaha Street. Design of drainage structures and modifications to existing structures will be included as necessary. This project shall also include services for the following: surveying, any and all governmental agency coordination/permitting, identification of utility conflicts, and coordination of utility relocations if necessary.
Cost: $26,000.00
Funding Source: 2018 General Obligation Bond Sidewalks
