Title:

title

Consideration, discussion and possible adoption of Ordinance No. 3680, an Ordinance amending Chapter 25, Article 1, Section 25-4 (Local administrator) and Article III, Section 25-208 (Stormwater Development Permit) of the City of Broken Arrow Code of Ordinances; repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith; and declaring an emergency

Background:

Modifications to the Broken Arrow Code of Ordinances are proposed that would amend a portion of Chapter 25 (Stormwater Management) of the Code of Ordinances.

The ordinance currently allows only the local administrator of the stormwater management program to officially review stormwater development applications and approve or deny the stormwater development permit.  The purpose of the amendment is to provide the City Manager or the City Manager’s designee the authority to review, approve, waive or deny stormwater development permits.  This effort will coincide with the operational adjustment to perform the majority of stormwater engineering plan and specification reviews for new developments using Community Development engineering personnel.
