Background:
The attached General Warranty Deeds are being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, from the Terry and Rebecca Carter Trust dated September 10, 2019, the owners. Parcel 6.0 consists of 0.25 acres, Parcel 6.1 0.04 acres of permanent Right-of-Way located at the southeast corner of Albany and 37th Street, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in the Northwest Quarter of Section 5, Township 18 North, Range 15 East, Wagoner County, State of Oklahoma. The Carter Trust has accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:
Permanent Right of Way: 0.294 ACRES (AC) @ $31,442.46 AC = $9,244.00
Improvements: (Gravel parking) $444.00
Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $ 9,700.00
A copy of the signed acceptance of the City's offer is attached, as are the General Warranty Deeds. Payment of the compensation amount is on the April 6, 2021 City Council Claims List.
Cost: $9,700.00
Funding Source: 2018 General Obligation Bond.
