Background:
This project is located at the Broken Arrow Justice Center. The Municipal Courtroom Renovations project consists of making all public areas of the chamber fully accessible as well as providing reconfigured witness seating at the front of the courtroom. There were five (5) Additive Alternates for this project that included carpet replacement (Add. Alternate 1), allowance for ceiling and wall repair (Add. Alternate 2), Additional Cost for work to be performed offsite (Add. Alternate 3), installation of a chair rail behind the jury seats (Add. Alternate 4), and refinishing of millwork (Add. Alternate 5).
The project was advertised on September 22nd, 2020 and September 29th, 2020. Two (2) bids were received on October 27th, 2020. The contract was awarded to Construction Enterprises for a base bid total of $27,600.00 and a base bid + additive alternate 1-5 total of $50,832.28. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $81,444.00. A Notice to Proceed was issued for December 17, 2020.

This Change Order #1 addresses the following additions /or deletions to the contract:

At the request of the City of Broken Arrow, the contractor shall perform the following electrical work that was specified to be completed by the City in the plans:
ELECTRICAL WORK to include:
? Electrical demolition as required to allow for safe removal of the existing millwork
? Reconnect existing electrical power to refurbished millwork when re-installed. Existing circuitry to remain as is. No provisions for additional circuits are included, as discussed. Terminations of re-installed low-voltage cabling to be completed by others, as discussed.
? Permit and inspection fees, as required.
