Background:

The owner, Seven Oaks South, LLC, has submitted an application requesting the closure of approximately 1.23-acre drainage easement on property located approximately one-half mile east of 9th Street (Lynn Lane), south of New Orleans Street (101st Street). The property is currently under review to be platted as The Village at Seven Oaks South.

The detention easement was dedicated on October 30, 2007 as a part of the first phases of the Seven Oaks South Addition. The applicant is requesting to close the drainage easement as a part of the platting process for this additional phase. Detention is being provided with the plat of The Village at Seven Oaks South.

Staff has reviewed the documents and recommends acceptance of the drainage easement closure.
