Approval of and authorization to execute Budget Amendment Number 22 for Fiscal Year 2021

Background:
The Municipal Budget Act adopted by the City Council allows the City to amend the budget at any time during the year for necessary expenditures incurred that exceed the original budget or when changing circumstances warrant the action.
Budget amendment Number 22 is to recognize the additional proceeds from the 2020B and 2020C General Obligation (GO) Bonds sale that were not included in the Fiscal Year 2021 (FY21) Original Budget and appropriate those proceeds for the specified projects approved by City Council at the October 6, 2020 City Council meeting and to amend the budgets of projects included in the FY21 Budget that are different from the City Council approved project list.
Cost: $3,500,000.00
Funding Source: 2018 General Obligation Bond sale proceeds.
