Notification of City Manager's and Assistant City Manager's execution of Professional Consultant Agreements and Amendments to an Agreement, as well as public Construction Contracts not subject to the Competitive Bid Act, with a Contract value of less than $25,000

Background:

The City Council has authorized the City Manager, or his designee, by ordinance to execute contracts for the purchase of supplies, materials, and other services in accordance with the limitations prescribed by the City of Broken Arrow Purchasing manual or other procedures established by the City Manager. The Purchasing Manual establishes a limitation up to including $25,000.00 for the City Manager and, in turn, the City Manager has identified a limitation up to and including $15,000.00 for the Assistant City Managers.

In an effort to keep the governing body and the public apprised of administration’s contractual actions.  Staff is submitting the following contracts, including professional consultant contracts and amendments, and construction contracts not subject to the State of Oklahoma Public Competitive Bid Act, for notification purposes only.

The City Manager or Assistant City Managers have approved the following Professional Consultant Agreements:

                     Pedestrian Signal Design on Hillside Drive between Albany St. & 9th St. - Traffic Engineering Consultants, Inc.

No further action is required by Council.
