Background:
The City has $9,570,000 in outstanding general obligation bonds described as City of Broken Arrow General Obligation Bonds, Series 2011A dated August 1, 2011 issued in the original amount of $5,000,000 and Series 2011B issued in the original amount of $11,450,000. The 2011 series have maturities between August 1, 2021 and August 1, 2031. They can be refunded at this time to provide savings to the City. In order to continue with this process State Statute requires a Public Hearing to be conducted. Notice of Public Hearing to refund certain portion of the outstanding City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma General Obligation Bonds Series 2011A and General Obligation Bonds, Series 2011B was published in the Tulsa World and Wagoner County America Tribune on October 7, 2020
