Approval of and authorization to execute Capital Improvements Agreement with the Board of County Commissioners of Tulsa County for Vision 2025 Surplus Funds for Broken Arrow E. Dallas & 1st St. Parking Lot Improvements Project
End
Background:
The City of Broken Arrow is currently designing improvements to the three Parking Lots for City Hall located around the E. Dallas & 1st St. intersection. The project has budgeted $100,000 in Sales Tax Capital Improvement funding. The intent of the project is to make the area more aesthetically pleasing by enhancing the greenspace and increasing landscaping throughout the area.
The Tulsa County Vision Authority has excess Vision 2025 funds, $45,499.36, available which can be utilized for construction for the improvements to the three existing parking lots. In order to take advantage of the excess Vision 2025 funds to further the project improvements, the City must enter into a Capital Improvements Agreement with Board of County Commissioners of Tulsa County.
E&C staff recommends approval and authorization of the Capital Improvements Agreement.
