Background:
The National League of Cities requires each member city to designate a voting delegate and an alternate to vote on business matters before its annual congress. Historically, Council has appointed the Mayor, Vice Mayor or City Manager to the delegate position; however, any official may be designated. The City Manager will not be attending the business meeting portion of the conference. This year’s virtual meeting is scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2020.
