Background:
In 2019 - 2020, Holloway, Updike, and Bellen, Inc. wrote an Engineering Report that looked at different options and recommended the most cost effective and timely alternative on how to address the problems that the Adams Creek Northwest Lift Station experienced during the last several years. During the development of this report, a small flow monitoring study was conducted to obtain actual flow data. Due to unexpectedly high peaking factors and failure of the lift station to convey the sewage, this data did not provide much usable information for the Engineering Report. The data did indicate that there were high levels of Inflow and Infiltration (I & I) coming from a specific area of this basin. This project will consist of manhole inspections, dye testing, smoke testing, CCTV Inspection, Creek Crossing Inspections and a Summary Report. Results from this study will provide valuable data for a future construction project to address the I & I issue and reduce excess flows in this area.
A Professional Consultant Agreement has been negotiated with Holloway, Updike and Bellen, Inc. for the Wastewater Collection System Rehabilitation - Lynn Lane WWTP Subbasin LL34 for $247,850.00.
