Consideration, discussion and possible action regarding the design and construction of drainage and erosion control improvements in Waterford Park II subdivision and direction of staff to obtain necessary easements for such drainage improvements and authorization of the expenditure of 2018 General Obligation Bond, Proposition 6 funds for the improvements
End
Background:
Stormwater runoff from Waterford Park II Subdivision is collected in a public storm sewer and conveyed to the drainage way running in a reserve along the northwest corner of the subdivision. The public storm sewer has eroded away some of the private property. The discharge flow combined with the upstream flow has caused some undercutting of the outfall line. The City desires to armor protect this outfall location in order to better protect the public utility while reducing erosion to the private property.
