Background:
Oklahoma law requires a municipality to give notice of its regularly scheduled meetings for the next calendar year by December 15 of the year preceding. This notice shows the date, time and place of the regularly scheduled meetings for the following year. While normally, City of Broken Arrow city meetings are scheduled for the first and third Tuesdays of each month, the City meetings in June are scheduled on the first and third Mondays to accommodate for Tuesdays in the Park. If there is any change to the date, time or place of the meetings, notice must be given to the Municipal Clerk in writing at least 10 days prior to said change.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tuesdays in the Park has been canceled for June 2020. A Resolution has been drafted, notifying the Municipal Clerk of the change in meeting dates from June 1 and June 15, 2020, respectively, to the new meeting dates of Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. and Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. This change shall be applicable for the City Council, Broken Arrow Economic Development Authority and Broken Arrow Municipal Authority meetings.
