Background:
The City of Broken Arrow has selected both the corridors of 9th Street and Elm Place between Houston and Kenosha Streets to apply for a Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) Transportation Discretionary Grants program. The BUILD Grant would be used to construct roadway improvements and widening to both street corridors as well as improvements to both bridges over SH-51 (Broken Arrow Expressway) along with interchange reconfigurations. The BUILD Grant, if awarded, would augment existing Surface Transportation Program (STP) funds and local funds (GO Bonds).
