Background:
An Agreement was put in place with Olsson Inc. in 2019 for a Master Plan design of the proposed new park in Southwest Broken Arrow. The original Agreement included scope to create a Master Plan based on the boundary of the land the City owns, attend a public meeting, and revise the Master Plan basted on comments from the public meeting. Since that Agreement was put in place the City has decided to put together a Citizen’s Advisory Committee to help ensure that the park has the qualities desired by citizens in this area of the city. The City wanted to make sure that these comments were taken into consideration in the Master Plan so an Amendment has been put together with Olsson, Inc. This amendment will include Olsson attending the Citizen’s Advisory committee meetings, revising the current Master Plan, obtaining survey of the land where the park will be, and proposing phasing recommendations for the park, as well as any items remaining from the scope of the original agreement.
The Engineering and Construction Department negotiated an Amendment with Olsson, Inc. for $38,345.00. The Total Agreement amount for the Original Contract + Amendment No. 1 is $50,595.00.
