Award the most advantageous bid to GT Distributors for the Police Glock Trade-in Buy/Back for the Police Department

Background:
There were two bids for the Police Trade-in Buy/Back. GT Distributors bid to give store credit in the amount of $41,580.00 and the second bid, Proforce Law Enforcement, bid the amount of $38,700.00. None of the other vendors returned a bid. GT Distributors has submitted the most advantageous bid to the City of Broken Arrow.
This store credit will allow the Police Department to buy new Glocks and/or firearms equipment. The Police Department has already started the process of transitioning to a new caliber and this will aid in completing the process without any cost to the City.
This process does not affect the police department’s operational budget .
