Consideration, discussion and possible approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Consultant Agreement with GH2 Architects, LLC for the Broken Arrow Gateways Master Plan (Project No. 201702)

Background:
On multiple Transportation Projects, City Council has discussed a need to consider Gateway monuments and signs at our arterial entrances to the City. There was concern about having multiple design firms working on different Gateways at different locations. It was decided the best approach would be to hire one design firm to create a Gateway Master Plan that would include a map of all Gateway locations and proposed designs for each location. The designs at each location would be tiered in size based upon the volume of people that travel through that area. This is a great opportunity to create a brand that lets visitors and citizens know when they enter the City of Broken Arrow and create a sense of pride in the community.
City Staff has negotiated an agreement with GH2 Architects, LLC to help with the Gateway Master Plan. As part of the Master Plan process, GH2 will provide 3 options of what our Gateway designs could look like to City Staff and City Council for feedback. They will take our feedback from all of the options and create 1 new look to present for comments before finalizing the Master Plan.
Cost: $37,750.00
