Approval of and authorization to execute an amendment to the Tyler Technology contract dated July 16, 2019, to adjust the BMI software and hardware costs related to the new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

Background:

The City entered into a contract with Tyler Technologies for a new financial software system (Munis) on July 16, 2019 at a cost of $24,685.00. Since the execution of the contract Tyler has had an upgrade to the BMI AssetTrak software and hardware which results in a lower price than originally quoted. The new price will be $15,029.00 resulting in a savings of $9,656.00.
