Background:

Stephen Steward is currently employed as the Director of Information Technology with the City of Broken Arrow. Mr. Steward has submitted his resignation with an effective date of January 14, 2020. The attached General Release and Separation Agreement is presented for the Council’s consideration. The agreement provides for a six-month severance and payment of all accrued vacation and holiday leave through January 14, 2020. The General Release and Separation Agreement is required to be approved by the Council due to the fact the amount exceeds the City Manager’s authority to approve.
