Background:
Each year the City of Broken Arrow contracts with Youth Services of Tulsa County, Inc., for the provision of counseling services and crisis intervention to the youth in Broken Arrow. The fiscal year 2019-2020 contract amount is $30,000.00. Included in this amount, is the provision of services relating to first time juvenile offenders. First time juvenile offenders are sentenced by the City of Broken Arrow Municipal Court to attend the Misdemeanant Alternative Program. This program is for youth aged 10-18. The program provides direct client services including counseling, substance abuse group classes, crisis intervention, skill building classes and supervision of restitution.
