Background:
In accordance with the Sec. 2-211 of the Broken Arrow Convention and Visitors’ Bureau ordinance, the Council is to appoint one city councilmember to the Board. Mayor Craig Thurmond currently fulfils that appointment and has indicated an interest to be re-appointed for the upcoming term. If reappointed, Mr. Thurmond’s term would expire September 30, 2021.
