Approval of and authorization to execute a contract for professional services between the City of Broken Arrow and Family & Children’s Services (F&CS) to provide a Victim Response Program for the City of Broken Arrow in fiscal year 2019-2020

Background:
The City has been granted Thirty-Six Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Five Dollars and no cents ($36,995.00) by the Oklahoma District Attorneys Council for Victims of Crime Advocate (VOCA), and shall utilize these funds to compensate F&CS for the services described in this contract. In addition to these VOCA funds, the City will contribute Ten Thousand One Hundred Twenty-Four Dollars and no cents ($10,124.00) from the Police Operational Budget towards the funding of this contract for a combined amount of Forty-Seven Thousand One Hundred Nineteen Dollars and no cents ($47,119.00). These monies will be utilized in the following purpose area: (1) Contractual Full-Time Victim Advocate.
Staff recommends approval of and authorization to execute the contract for professional services.
Cost: $47,119.00 ($36,995.00 grant funded)
