Background:

The State of Oklahoma currently has three vendors with competitive bids for Police Pursuit SUV.  Law Enforcement agencies throughout the State of Oklahoma are able to purchase vehicles at the state contract price, which is advantageous to the political subdivisions by allowing them to make purchases at lower prices.  The Police Department is seeking to purchase 6 Dodge Durango Police Pursuit SUVs from the state bid contract. 

The lowest state bid price is for $31,226.00 through Bob Howard Dodge for the 2020 Durango Police Pursuit Vehicle.

Funds have been appropriated and are available in Police Department’s portion of the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund.
