Background:

Law Enforcement agencies throughout the State of Oklahoma are able to purchase vehicles at the state contract price, which is advantageous to the political subdivisions by allowing them to make purchases at lower prices.  The Police Department is seeking to purchase three Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicles for the Patrol Division. These will be marked patrol vehicles.

Bob Howard Dodge submitted the lowest bid at $26,089.50 per Dodge Charger.  The total cost for three Dodge Chargers is $78,268.50.

These vehicles will replace aging vehicles in the patrol fleet.

Funds have been appropriated and are available in Police Department’s portion of the Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund.
