Background:
As part of the Information Technology Disposal of Computer Equipment Policy, we remove all hard drives before computers are surplus and sold at auction. The City has maintained an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the Department of Capital Asset Management in which they provide for the destruction of the City’s surplus hard drives. It is time to renew our biennial Interlocal Cooperative Agreement with the Department of Capital Assets Management.
