                     Award the most advantageous bid to Premier Truck Group for the purchase of one (1) dump truck for the Parks and Recreation Department

Background:

The Parks Department has budgeted for the purchase of a dump truck. This truck will replace an older unit. 

 

Bid requests for the dump truck were sent to eleven vendors.  Four bids were received from three vendors, one vendor submitting an alternate bid.  All bids met specifications.  Base pricing and selected options are reflected in the attached bid tabulation.

 

Staff recommends that the Council award the most advantageous bid to Premier Truck Group for the purchase of one 2020 Freightliner M2 chassis with a Firehouse D1 dump body.  

 

Cost:                                                                $78,022.00 

 

Funding Source:       Sales Tax Capital Improvement Fund, Project 20.6002
