Background:
Tulsa County is planning to widen Garnett Road from Washington Street to New Orleans Street. As a result, the existing BAMA 8-inch water line along Garnett Road in this area must be relocated to avoid having the water line underneath the new pavement. The relocation of the water line was designed by the Engineering and Construction Department and the plans were sent to the ODEQ for review and were approved for construction. The Permit to Construct was signed on August 26th, 2019. Tulsa County is supplying the materials, and BAMA’s Utility Construction Division will install the relocated water line. Approximately 5,460 feet of 8-inch and 238 feet of 12-inch water line will be installed with this project.
