Background:
Guy Engineering Services, Inc. is currently working on the Houston Street widening project from 9th Street to Old Highway 51 (ST1926) which will encroach on creek channels identified as “blue line streams” on USGS topographic maps. Blue line stream alterations are protected under Section 404 of the Environmental Protection Act and require permits, which are granted from the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This amendment is needed to allow the design engineer to gather and provide the USACE all necessary information in order to make a Jurisdictional Determination which is the first step in the Section 404 permitting process.
Cost: $9,330.00
