Approval of and authorization to execute a Professional Services Agreement with Oklahoma Municipal Management Services (OMMS) to provide the City of Broken Arrow with an Interim Director of Engineering and Construction

Background:
Oklahoma Municipal Management Services (OMMS) is agency created to provide professional management assistance to participating municipalities. The City of Broken Arrow adopted a resolution in order to enter into an agreement with OMMS as a member. As a part of this membership, OMMS can provide an Interim Director of Engineering and Construction until a new director is hired, thereby allowing the engineering staff to continue managing its heavy project load. It is anticipated that this position will be filled in late 2019 or early 2020.
The attached agreement for the above professional services is set for consideration and approval to execute. The Interim Director will report directly to the Assistant City Manager of Operations during this period. The Interim Director will provide administrative oversight and technical guidance during the contract period.
Cost: Estimated not to exceed $20,000
