Background:
The Regional Metropolitan Utility Authority (RMUA) selected CH2M Hill, Inc. to perform design services for a new Aeration Basin at Haikey Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The project consisted of conceptual, preliminary, and final design services along with bidding services. This Amendment No. 1 consists of services during construction, special inspection services, and laboratory material testing services at the Haikey Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The original negotiated Agreement amount was for $1,407,764.61 and the negotiated Amendment No. 1 amount is for $577,532.58 for a total contract amount of $1,685,297.19, of which BAMA is responsible for 50 percent.
