Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of Amended Application #1 to the Tulsa County Vision Authority for Vision 2025 Surplus Funds for Center for Arts, Innovation and Creativity

Background:
In February 2016 the City Council approved an application to the Tulsa County Vision Authority for $650,000 of Vision 2025 Surplus funding for schematic design the Creative Arts Center in the Rose District.
At the time of the original application, schematic design was the extent of the contract with the consultant, Selser Schaefer Architects, until operation funds could be raised for the center. The Arts Committee has raised the funds for operation of the center and the City contracted with the consultant to continue design and produce construction documents. As a result, an additional $1,950,000.00 is required to cover the cost of additional design work necessary to complete and pay for the construction of the project. Staff recommends amending the application to the Tulsa County Vision Authority adding the required $1,950,000.00.
