Ratification of Professional Consultant Agreement with Tulsa Engineering & Planning Associates Inc. for The Park on Florence 2nd Detention Facility Rehabilitation (SW1922)

Background:
This ratification is required because the Agreement was approved by the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority. However, the funding for the project is from the 2018 GO Bond which is overseen by the Broken Arrow City Council.
The Park on Florence 2nd Detention Facility provides detention for the Park on Florence 2nd and Leisure Park II subdivisions. The detention facility was not properly maintained and therefore, is not working as intended. The facility is overgrown with trees, tall brush, and reeds throughout the entire bottom of the facility. Due to the different areas that flow into this detention facility it was determined to be a regional detention facility and The City of Broken Arrow decided to take ownership of it. In order to get the facility cleaned up and functioning as intended, the Engineering and Construction department negotiated an agreement with Tulsa Engineering and Planning Associates, Inc.
Cost: $39,750.00
