Approval of and authorization to execute a Promotional License on City Property between the City of Broken Arrow and Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce to host the 2019 Taste of Summer event

Background:
The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the annual Taste of Summer event on July 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Central Park. This year’s event includes entertainment, touch-a-truck-, sandbox dig, marketplace and of course unlimited ice cream.
This event has been designated as a long standing event. The Special Events Committee, in their meeting of April 18th, 2019 recommended approval of the request for a Special Event Permit.
Costs associated are to provide the facility, security, and support for this event not to exceed $10,000.
Cost: $10,000
Funding Source: General Fund
