Approval of and authorization to execute a Quote with United Systems for purchase and installation of server hardware to host Tyler Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System software

Background:
As part of the installation of the new ERP software systems, the city must expand the existing datacenter to provide the capacity to host all of the servers required by Tyler Technologies. This proposal is to build a Hyper-V cluster specifically for hosting servers required for the new ERP system. This solution will also provide capacity for future expansion.
The equipment proposed is well suited to integrate with existing equipment in the City’s main datacenter. The Dell Compellent SAN proposed as a part of this installation will allow the City to enable replication between other existing Dell SAN’s in the network. By enabling replication between SAN’s, it will provide an additional layer of protection from data loss on the new ERP servers.
In addition to the added benefit of SAN replication, the new systems installed are all Dell branded equipment. All of the pricing for equipment in this proposal is based on State Contract SW1020D. Cost: $163,557.36
