Background:
The Municipal Budget Act adopted by the City Council allows the City or Authorities to amend the budget or financial plans at any time during the year for necessary expenditures incurred that exceed the original budget or when circumstances warrant the action.
Budget Amendment Number 1 for the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (BAMA) is to appropriate $302,000 of the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority Fund Balance for the emergency repairs to the County Line trunk sewer line and recognize the proceeds of the $11,415,000 2019B CWSRF loan from OWRB and appropriate the expenses for improvements to the Haikey Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant and Lift Station.
Cost: $11,717,000.00
